Best Time To Visit Thiruvalluvar Statue (Kanyakumari) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Thiruvalluvar Statue in Kanyakumari

The ideal time to visit the majestic Thiruvalluvar Statue in Kanyakumari is during the winter months, from October to February. During this period, the weather is pleasant with moderate temperatures ranging from about 17°C to 34°C, making it comfortable for tourists to explore the area and enjoy the outdoor attraction without the harshness of the tropical sun. The lower humidity levels compared to other times of the year also contribute to a more enjoyable experience. In addition, the clear skies offer unobstructed views of the statue and the surrounding ocean, enhancing the visual delight of your visit.

While the winter season is optimal, visitors can also consider the transition months of early March or late September for fewer crowds and relatively pleasant weather. However, it's best to avoid the summer months from March to May due to the extreme heat and high humidity, which can lead to an uncomfortable visit. The monsoon season, from June to September, is also less ideal as heavy rains can disrupt travel plans and hamper the visual experience with overcast skies. Regardless of the time of your visit, ensure to check the local weather forecast and plan your trip to Kanyakumari and the Thiruvalluvar Statue accordingly for a memorable experience.
