Ambedkar Memorial Park, also known as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal, is a public park and memorial located in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The park is spread over an area of about 107 acres and was constructed by the Mayawati government in honor of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, as well as other social reformers who played a key role in the fight against social discrimination and the caste system. It features large stone structures, columns, and sprawling green lawns, along with a canal that runs through the park. The main attractions are the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial, a museum, a photo gallery showcasing the history of the Bauddha religion and the life and times of Ambedkar, and several gigantic stone elephants. The park has been constructed with red sandstone brought from Rajasthan and is a significant site of Dalit empowerment and architectural grandeur, representing a contemporary fusion of old and new architectural designs.
