Bhulla Tal is a small yet serene artificial lake located in the quaint cantonment town of Lansdowne in Uttarakhand, India. Created and maintained by the Indian Army, the name 'Bhulla' is a Garhwali term which means 'younger brother'. This is a token of tribute to the young Garhwali youth of the Armed Forces that contributed to its construction. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a tranquil environment away from the hustle of city life. Visitors can enjoy boating on the calm waters, with paddle boats available for rent. The lakeside area is well-maintained with ample seating to relax and absorb the beauty of nature. There are also small eateries around where one can savor local snacks. A children’s park and bamboo machan are additional attractions that add value to a family outing.
