It was established in 1983 and is also known as the 'Darwan Singh Sanghralaya,' named after the first Victoria Cross holder from the regiment, Naik Darwan Singh Negi. The museum is housed within a historic British-era building, showcasing a collection that ranges from photographs, uniforms, and arms to personal belongings of the soldiers. The displays narrate the gallant history of the Garhwal Rifles, dating back to the First World War, and aim at inspiring visitors with stories of valor and sacrifice.
