  Serene, beautiful Falls-Do Not Miss

  Birthi Falls is one of the most beautiful and serene places we have seen. The walk is not as long as some people think. It's a short 10 minute leisurely walk to the Falls. Great place to relax quietly, take pictures, and have a cup of tea in lovely surroundings. Also across from the entrance to the Falls is a shop where you can buy local produce. If you are planning to stop on the way, allow 1 hour to walk leisurely and enjoy the Falls. The place is managed by the local villagers and the nominal ticket charges(Rs. 20 per ticket) go to the Local Panchayat and are used for maintenance of this exquisite place.

  Birthi Falls - a beautiful place to visit enroute to Munsiyari

  Birthi falls is approximately 40 KMs before reaching Munsiyari. There is a beautiful Kumayun Mandal TRH at Birthi (on road side). We will have a good view of Birthi fall from this TRH. It falls from 126 meters height. We can go near to the falls by foot.. Nothing extra ordinary, but it is place to relax before reaching Munsiyari. If you are driving self to Musiyari, I suggest to break your journey at Birthi – you can have cheap accommodation at TRH and next day morning you can reach Munsiyari.

  Waterfalls

  The Birthi falls is located on the way to Munsiyari, entry fee is Rs. 20 per head. The waterfalls can be seen from the main road itself, however one can trek some distance to get a closure view of the falls. The place has some shops for tea, basic snacks / foods. A break at this place is recommended.

  Must visit!!

  It is on the way to munsiyari, entry ticket is 20rs per person. Trek is about 2kms and not too hard. Enjoy the ambience over there, You can take a food break while you come down.there are 4-5 shops with basic food items service

  Spectacular and enchanting.

  Roaring Cascade of waterfalls,a wonder of nature and majestic. We took a short break on our way to Munsiari and very sight of this waterfalls reinvigorated us. Most memorable and refreshing.
