Via Air

Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) is the nearest airport to Boudhanath Stupa. Upon arriving at TIA, you can opt for a variety of transportation methods to reach your destination:

  • Taxi: This is the most convenient option. The taxi ride from the airport to Boudhanath might take around 15-30 minutes depending on the traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey or look for taxis that use meters.
  • Pre-booked Vehicles: Your hotel or a tour operator can arrange a pick-up for you. This option provides a stress-free transfer to the stupa.

Via Road

Travelers already in Kathmandu can reach Boudhanath Stupa via the following modes of road transportation:
