The Cyclopean Walls in Rajgir, Bihar, India, are an ancient marvel that once served as a protective fortification for the city. Rajgir, a city steeped in history, is enveloped by hills and the remnants of the Cyclopean Walls, which are constructed entirely without the use of mortar. These walls, made of massive undressed stones, are believed to have been built during the Mauryan era, around 2500 years ago, and stretch for about 40 kilometers, though much of it is now in ruins. The walls are called 'Cyclopean' because they are reminiscent of the mythical Cyclops, emphasizing the largeness of the stones used.
