Gandhi Maidan, originally known as Patna Lawns, is a historic ground located in the heart of Patna, Bihar, India. It is a significant place of political and social gatherings with an area of 62 acres. Gandhi Maidan has been a witness to numerous historical events, most notably the launch of several freedom movement campaigns such as the Quit India Movement and the Satyagraha movement led by Mahatma Gandhi. It also saw the rise of many political figures. Today, Gandhi Maidan serves as an open space for rallies, cultural events, exhibitions, and is surrounded by important administrative buildings and landmarks, including the Patna High Court, Bihar Secretariat, and Patna Museum. A large statue of Mahatma Gandhi stands in one corner of the ground, after whom the ground was named. The vast expanse of green lawns and open skies make it an ideal place for leisurely walks and morning exercises for the city's residents.

Big big park

Gandhi Maidan is a historic ground in Patna, near the banks of the Ganges River. Gandhi maiden is very big and lots of building and offices is around maiden.

Gandhi Maidan is situated near ganga river bank and easily access by local transport. This is very huge ground.

Nice political ground

This is a big ground with 12 gates for entry and exit. We used to have a walk for the outer ring of this place staying in Lemon tree Premier hotel. Pollution is too high during day time.
