Hanuman Garhi is a significant religious site situated in the heart of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, famed as the birthplace of Lord Rama. This 10th-century temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the monkey god and devoted follower of Lord Rama in the Hindu epic Ramayana. Believed to be the place where Hanuman dwelled and guarded the kingdom, Hanuman Garhi sits atop a hill which visitors reach by climbing a flight of 76 stairs.
