Best Time To Visit Harsiddhi Temple Ujjain (Ujjain) In 2026 - 2027

One of the most auspicious times to visit the Harsiddhi Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India, is during the Hindu festival of Navratri. This festival typically occurs twice a year, once in the month of Chaitra (March-April) and again in Ashvin (September-October), with each period spanning nine nights and ten days. Navratri is dedicated to the worship of the goddess Durga, and Harsiddhi Temple, being one of the Shakti Peethas, holds significant religious importance during this festival. Devotees flock to the temple to offer prayers and witness the special rituals and aartis performed for the Goddess. The temple is beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere is charged with devotion and spiritual energy, making it an ideal time for those looking to immerse themselves in the cultural and religious traditions of India.

Besides Navratri, another good time to visit Harsiddhi Temple is during the Kumbh Mela, which occurs once every twelve years in Ujjain. During this time, millions of pilgrims and visitors gather in the city to take part in the religious event, which involves ritualistic bathing in the holy river Shipra. However, if you prefer a less crowded and more serene experience, the winter months from October to March are considered ideal. During this period, the weather is pleasant, and the cool temperatures make it comfortable for visitors to explore the temple and its surroundings. The festival of Shivaratri, usually in February or March, is also a significant occasion in Ujjain, marking another auspicious time to visit the Harsiddhi Temple when special poojas and ceremonies take place in honor of Lord Shiva.
