Best Time to Visit Honey Bees Centre in Saputara

The Honey Bees Centre is a popular attraction located in Saputara, the picturesque hill station in the Western Ghats of Gujarat. The center offers visitors an insightful experience into the process of beekeeping and honey harvesting. The best time to visit the Honey Bees Centre is between the months of October to February, when the weather is pleasantly cool and ideal for sightseeing. During this period, the temperature ranges between 8°C and 28°C, which is comfortable for outdoor activities and exploring the area. Additionally, the winter season is conducive for the full bloom of flowers in the region, which is not only beautiful to see but also results in better honey production.

Although the Honey Bees Centre can be visited throughout the year, the monsoon season, from June to September, might not be the most suitable due to heavy rains that can disrupt travel plans and outdoor excursions. Summers, from March to May, can be quite hot in Saputara, with temperatures climbing up to 38°C. However, if you are interested in the active beekeeping process, summer is when bees are very productive, and you might get to see more of the beekeeping activities. Regardless of the season, make sure to check the opening hours of the Honey Bees Centre and plan your visit accordingly to enjoy a sweet and educational experience.
