Kapildhara Waterfall is a natural cascade located about 6 kilometers northwest of the holy town of Amarkantak in Madhya Pradesh, India. The waterfall is named after the great sage Kapil who, according to legend, lived and meditated here. Situated at an altitude of approximately 1000 meters, the waterfall cascades down from a height of about 24 meters creating a stunning spectacle. This serene spot is surrounded by dense forests and offers a tranquil environment where visitors can enjoy the beauty of untouched nature. The source of the waterfall is the River Narmada, which is considered one of the five holy rivers in India. The region has significant religious importance as it marks the origin of the Narmada River and is a confluence point for many believers. Besides its religious significance, Kapildhara is also a popular tourist attraction owing to its picturesque landscape, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers, photographers, and those seeking solace from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Unlucky
Since we went in the summers, the water was very less. A Tubewell would pump out more water then these falls (in Summer). I am sure, it would be lovely to visit after rainy season.

Probably the first waterfall on Narmada
Nice waterfall. You can take a dip as well. While everyone can enjoy the fall from a distance, folks with a knee problems may find it difficult to climb down to witness from close proximity.
