Mudh Village Tourism

Mudh Village is the last motorable village in the Pin Valley, part of the larger Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India. This secluded hamlet is nestled among towering peaks and is accessible via a narrow road branching out from the main Kaza-Manali highway. The village is known for its picturesque landscape, which is characterized by barren mountains, azure skies, and the Pin river that meanders alongside. Its remoteness ensures that the cultural essence remains untainted by modern influences. Traditional Spitian homes dot the landscape, made of mud and stone with beautifully carved wooden doors and windows. It's a gateway to several treks, including the Pin Parvati Pass and Bhaba Pass treks. The life here moves at a relaxed pace, offering a quiet escape and an opportunity to witness the subsistence lifestyle of the villagers. Agriculture and animal husbandry are the primary occupations, with fields of peas and barley flanking the village's periphery. The Pin Valley National Park, nearby, is a sanctuary for the endangered snow leopard and other wildlife.
