The pristine blue water of the lake reflects the spectacular Himalayan skyline. Suraj Tal serves as the starting point for the challenging trek to the Zanskar Valley in Ladakh. Viewpoint by side of road

Crystal clear glacial water.Deep blue. Nestles in mountain cleft. .the Baralacha Pass on the Leh Manali Highway. Stunning scenery.

Breathtaking views

Breath taking views of snow clad mountain and beautiful lake. Just 2 km from Baralacha la. Must stop. Beware of rolling stones from the mountains. Cars were stopped for sometime.

Amazingly beautiful

Absolutely amazing... I would say that it is the most beautiful lake that I have seen... the scenery around is wonderful and the color of the water adds to the beauty... you can also see layer of ice..

Amazing Place

Nice place in the middle of nowhere, with mountains all around. During season people visit the same and litter it with empty water/ alcohol bottles and chips wrappers.
