Nachiketa Lake Trek Tourism

Nachiketa Tal is a serene lake located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, India. It is nestled in the lap of the Himalayas at an altitude of about 2,450 meters above sea level. This lake is named after Nachiketa, a character from the Katha Upanishad. According to legend, Nachiketa created this lake, hence it is considered a sacred spot by locals. The trek to Nachiketa Tal starts from Chaurangi Khal and is approximately 3 kilometers long.
