Best Time To Visit Pandava Gufa (Saputara) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Pandava Gufa, Saputara, Gujarat, India

The most ideal time to visit Pandava Gufa in Saputara is during the post-monsoon and winter months, spanning from October to February. During this season, the weather remains pleasant with minimal rainfall, facilitating easier trekking and exploration of the caves. The temperature ranges from 12°C to 27°C, which is cool and comfortable for outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy the lush green landscape that the monsoon rains leave behind, making the scenery around Saputara picturesque and vibrant. The winter months also host various cultural festivals in the region which can add an extra layer of enjoyment to your visit.

Apart from the favorable weather conditions, another reason to consider this period is the Dipawali Festival, usually celebrated in October or November. During this time, you can experience local traditions and festivities. However, the monsoon season, from June to September, can be avoided as heavy showers might disrupt travel plans, and the pathway to Pandava Gufa could be slippery and challenging. If you enjoy a solitary visit with fewer crowds, you may prefer the early months of the year, specifically January and February, when tourist flow is lower, and you can spend more uninterrupted time at the historical site.
