To reach Rostov-on-Don by air, you will fly into Platov International Airport (ROV), which is well-connected with many Russian cities and some international destinations. If you're coming by car, Rostov-on-Don is accessible via the M4 Don Highway, which is part of the European route E115. The city has a developed network of roads connecting it to other parts of the country and to neighboring Ukraine.
Rostov-on-Don is also accessible by water via the Don River. The river port offers passenger services, including cruises. However, these services are more scenic and leisure-oriented rather than a means of transport to reach the city.
Upon arrival in Rostov-on-Don, you can use the local public transport network which includes buses, trolleybuses, trams, and minibusses known as "marshrutkas." For personal comfort, taxis are widely available and can be hailed on the street or booked through various mobile applications.
