Best Time To Visit Aguada Lighthouse (North Goa) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Aguada Lighthouse, North Goa

The Aguada Lighthouse, a predominant landmark in North Goa, is most enjoyable during the cooler months of November to March when the Goan weather is pleasantly temperate. During this period, the clear skies and lower humidity levels make for an ideal time to explore and climb the lighthouse for a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea and the Mandovi River. It is advisable to visit either early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the midday sun, with the added benefit of experiencing the stunning Goan sunsets that paint the horizon with colors while overlooking from the lighthouse.

The months of April and May mark the onset of summer and can be quite hot, with temperatures soaring high, which might make the visit less comfortable. Monsoon hits Goa around June and continues until September, bringing heavy rains and strong winds that could restrict outdoor activities and sightseeing. The lighthouse may be closed during adverse weather conditions for safety reasons. Therefore, while planning a visit to the Aguada Lighthouse, it is best to check the local weather conditions and operational timings to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
