Anjuna Flea Market is located in Anjuna, a coastal village in the North of Goa, India. This vibrant market springs to life every Wednesday on the white sands of the Anjuna beach, stretching for almost a kilometer. Established by hippies as a means to sell their possessions in the 1960s, it has since evolved into a major tourist attraction. Visitors can find a vast array of goods, from local handicrafts, jewelry, and clothes to electronics and global cuisine. The market also features live performances by bands and a spirited ambiance that reflects Goa's laid-back yet lively cultural ethos. Shoppers can haggle with vendors, many of whom are local artisans, while others hail from different parts of India and even overseas. The blend of cultures and the picturesque setting by the Arabian Sea make Anjuna Flea Market a must-visit for travelers seeking to experience the essence of Goan spirit and pick up unique souvenirs.
