Ahilya Ghat is a sacred bathing spot nestled in the serene town of Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh. Renowned for its spiritual ambience and scenic beauty, the ghat is situated on the banks of the river Narmada. It is named after the devout queen Ahilyabai Holkar who was known for her contributions to the maintenance and construction of Hindu temples. This ghat is one of the numerous ghats in Omkareshwar where pilgrims perform rituals and take holy dips believing to cleanse themselves of sins. The steps leading down to the river are often dotted with devotees and saints, lending the place a profound sense of divinity. Omkareshwar itself is a revered pilgrimage site famed for the Jyotirlinga Shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Ahilya Ghat, adorned with small temples and offering picturesque views of the river and surrounding hills, is frequented by visitors who come to experience peace and spirituality. Beautiful Ghats with a view of the stunning Ahilya Fort
The ghats are - compared to Benaras - relatively clean. The Narmada river is amazing - sunset on the Naramda with floating diyas is beautiful.

Beautiful ghat and view of Maa Narmada
This was an excellent experience, ghat is beautiful, well managed, nice and clean. The water is clear, and you can see a foot long fishes fighting it out among themselves when you drop balls of flour ..
