Ahobilam is a revered pilgrimage center located in the Allagadda Mandal of Kurnool District in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is nestled in the Eastern Ghats and is surrounded by dense forests and majestic hills. This sacred site is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, the lion-man incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and is believed to be where he appeared to save his devotee Prahlada. Ahobilam is unique as it houses nine different temples of Lord Narasimha, scattered over the hills, known as Nava Narasimhas. Each temple has a specific theme related to the mythology of Lord Narasimha, attracting pilgrims and history enthusiasts alike.
