Ajmer Sharif Dargah, also known as the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, is located in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. It is one of the most sacred shrines in Islam, and millions of pilgrims from all over the world visit the dargah annually. The shrine houses the tomb of the revered saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, who was a Sufi saint from Persia and is regarded as the spiritual founder of Islam in India. The Dargah complex includes several white marble buildings arranged around two courtyards, including a massive gate donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad and the Akbari Mosque, built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. The main gate to the shrine, which is the Nizam Gate, follows by the Shahjahani Gate, erected by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Inside the complex, the saint's tomb is adorned with a richly ornamented dome and fine marble with a gold-plated dome. The atmosphere inside the shrine is one of intense devotion, with Qawwali music performances adding to the spiritual experience.
