Best Time To Visit Alex Church Goa (North Goa) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Alex Church, Goa

The ideal time to visit Alex Church in North Goa, India, is during the cooler and drier months from November to March. During this period, the weather is pleasant with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 32°C. This is the peak tourist season, thanks to the comfortable climate that is conducive to exploring and enjoying various outdoor activities, including visiting churches. The famous Feast of St. Alex which is celebrated with much fervor falls in the month of July, a monsoon month; however, if you wish to witness this local festival, plan your visit around this time, but be prepared for wet weather.

It is advisable to avoid the hot and humid summer months from April to June when temperatures can soar to over 35°C, as well as the monsoon period from June to September when heavy rains can disrupt travel plans. During the monsoon, although the scenery is lush and green, outdoor activities might be limited. If you're looking for a quiet visit and don't mind the occasional rain, the shoulder season in October or the post-monsoon period could be a good choice when the crowds are thinner and the landscape is refreshed and vibrant.
