Take a flight to Pokhara Airport (PKR), which is the closest airport to Bat Cave. From there, it is most convenient to hire a taxi or a local bus that will take you close to the cave's location. The airport is approximately 10 kilometers away from the city center, where you can find transportation to the cave.

By Road:

If you're already in Nepal, you can opt for road transportation. Regular buses and microbuses run from various cities like Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Lumbini to Pokhara. Private taxis can also be hired for a more comfortable experience.

Local Transportation:

Upon reaching Pokhara, you can rent a scooter or motorbike, which offers an exciting way to explore the city and its surroundings at your own pace. If you prefer, local taxis and rickshaws are also widely available.

The Bat Cave is situated approximately 8 kilometers northwest of the central Pokhara, near Phewa Lake. From the lakeside area, you can take a taxi or a local bus to the cave. The journey typically takes around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the entrance, a short walk will lead you to the cave's mouth.

  • Bring a good flashlight as the inside of the cave is dark and may require additional lighting.
