Chandi Devi Temple is a renowned religious shrine situated atop the Neel Parvat in the holy city of Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Chandi, an incarnation of Goddess Durga and holds immense significance in Hindu mythology. It was constructed in 1929 by the King of Kashmir, Suchat Singh. Perched at an altitude of about 2,900 feet, the temple offers a panoramic view of the Shivalik ranges and the Ganga River flowing beneath. It can be reached by a trek of approximately 3 km or by the Udankhatola, a cable car service. The temple is a Siddha Peetha, which is a place of worship where desires get fulfilled, alongside Mansa Devi Temple and Maya Devi Temple. A significant number of pilgrims visit the temple during festivals like Navratri and the Kumbh Mela to receive blessings from the Goddess. It is a place that exudes a mystical charm, attracting both devout followers and tourists.

Awesome experience
It was a very nice experience, left our car in hotel and went chandi devi temple by auto. Kids enjoyed the cable car and the natural beauty. I will recommed every one to visit this place.

After holy dip this temple becomes must visit.
You can reach this temple by foot which steep 2km walk and the path is generally well made but most travelers prefer to use ropeway which costs INR 200/- per person and you reach less than 5mins excep..

Go early morning
Go there early morning before the crowd gets in. If possible, avoid weekends. We went there tuesday morning around 7.30 and it was perfect. There wasnt much wait time.
