Mansa Devi Temple, situated atop the Bilwa Parvat on the Shivalik Hills, the southernmost mountain chain of the Himalayas, is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Mansa Devi, a form of Shakti. Located in the holy city of Haridwar in Uttarakhand, India, it is one of the Panch Tirth (Five Pilgrimages) within Haridwar. The temple is a famous Siddhpeeth and is said to grant wishes of the faithful who tie threads to the branches of a tree located within the temple. The temple is accessible by a pedestrian path and by cable car, which offers a panoramic view of the Ganga River and Haridwar. The temple's architecture is typical of northern Indian temples with a main gate and a small courtyard. Devotees throng the temple during the Navratri and the Kumbh Mela.
