Chaturbhuj Temple Orchha Tourism

Chaturbhuj Temple, situated in the historic town of Orchha in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Constructed by the Bundela Rajputs, the temple dates back to the 16th century. It stands on a colossal stone platform and is accessed by a steep flight of stairs. The architecture of the temple is a blend of various styles, including a fusion of Mughal and Rajput features, with an intricately adorned exterior, showcasing ornate carvings and a towering spire that dominates the skyline of Orchha. Historically, the temple was originally built to house an idol of Rama which remained in the Rama Raja Temple.
