Best Time To Visit Climber's Point (Bandhavgarh National Park) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Climber's Point, Bandhavgarh National Park

The optimal period to visit Climber's Point in Bandhavgarh National Park hinges significantly on what you aim to experience. For wildlife enthusiasts, primarily those seeking an encounter with the majestic Bengal tiger, the best time is from October to June with the park being open to tourists. However, the peak time for tiger sightings typically spans from March to June, when the weather is hot, and animals frequently visit waterholes, enhancing the chances of sightings. Keep in mind that during these months, especially April and May, temperatures can soar above 40°C, making safaris quite hot and arduous.

On the other hand, if you prefer cooler weather and a more comfortable experience, the months of October to February offer a more amiable climate with lush vegetation following the monsoon season. This period provides a vibrant atmosphere for birdwatchers and nature lovers, with migratory birds being an added attraction. While wildlife may be slightly harder to spot amidst the dense foliage, the park's beauty is unmatched, and the lower tourist influx allows for a more tranquil exploration. Be advised, Bandhavgarh National Park is closed during the monsoon season from July to September for rejuvenation of the flora and fauna.
