Dwarka Lighthouse is situated on the Dwarka Point on the Arabian Sea coast, Western India, marking part of the Dwarka peninsula. Initially, a flag mast was erected at this site, and later the Government of India established the existing lighthouse in 1962. The structure stands tall, overlooking the vast expanse of blue water, and provides a panoramic view of the sunset. It is a cylindrical tower with a height of 43 meters equipped with a light and a radio beacon. The Dwarka Lighthouse serves as a navigational aid to sailors and marks the western end of the Arabian Sea coast of the Saurashtra Peninsula. It has become a popular tourist attraction for those visiting the ancient and holy city of Dwarka which is regarded as the 'kingdom of Lord Krishna'. Positioned near the sacred Dwarkadhish Temple, it offers a spiritual and serene experience, providing visitors with a sense of calm and an opportunity to witness maritime activities from a unique vantage point.

Nice place to visit once

The lighthouse campus is will maintained. Looks like it has been recently renovated. Clean environment. It's open from 4-6pm. The guy at the counter have ticket of Rs 1 but charged Rs 10. I wonder how..

Must visit

Same parking lot for light house and shivrajpur beach. Good place to visit it closes at 6pm. Bring drinking water for a safer side.
