Eco Park Kolkata Tourism

Eco Park, also known as Prakriti Tirtha, is an urban park located in New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Sprawling over 480 acres, it is the largest urban park in India. The park is designed to promote eco-tourism in the city and includes vast stretches of grassy land, thematic gardens, open spaces, and a large waterbody with an island in the middle. The park is segmented into three major parts: ecological zones like wetlands, grasslands, and urban forest; theme gardens and open spaces; and urban recreational spaces. It features activities such as boating, cycling, and a children's play area. Key attractions include the butterfly garden, bamboo garden, tea garden, mask garden, and the replica of the seven wonders of the world. It serves as an ecological haven that emphasizes the balance between recreation and the environment.
