Best Time To Visit Hawah Beach (Kovalam) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Hawah Beach, Kovalam

Kovalam is renowned for its serene beaches and among these is the stunning Hawah Beach. The optimal time to visit Hawah Beach is during the winter months from November to February. During this season, the weather in Kovalam is delightfully mild, with temperatures ranging from 17°C to 30°C. The warm, pleasant climate is perfect for beach activities like sunbathing, swimming, and surfing. Additionally, these months coincide with Kerala's tourist season, meaning that while the beach and surrounding areas will be more bustling with activity, all local services, tours, and accommodations will be fully operational to cater to visitors.

If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, visiting right before or after the peak season could be advantageous. The months of October and March offer a pleasant transition from the monsoon season and the beginning of summer, respectively, with relatively fewer tourists. However, be mindful that monsoon months from June to August bring heavy rainfalls to Kerala, which may not be ideal for beach visits. Although monsoon visits can offer lush green landscapes and the charm of seasonal festivals, for beach lovers, it is advisable to avoid the rainy season since Hawah Beach's natural beauty is best enjoyed under clear, sunny skies.
