The best time to visit the temple is from March to June and from September to November. During these months, the weather is pleasant making it suitable for tourism. Monsoon season, from July to August, can be avoided due to heavy rains which might cause landslides and difficult travel conditions.
As of my knowledge cutoff in 2023, there is no entry fee for visiting the Katarmal Sun Temple. However, it's always advisable to check for updated information before planning your visit as situations can change.
