The best time to visit Lucknow is between October and March when the weather is pleasant for sightseeing. Summers can be extremely hot, and monsoons may hamper outdoor activities.

Lucknow is generally considered safe for tourists. However, like in any city, it's advisable to take the usual precautions such as taking care of your belongings, avoiding isolated areas late at night, and being cautious of scams.
