Pandav Caves are located within the scenic precincts of Satpura National Park in Madhya Pradesh, India. These ancient caves are believed to date back to the 1st century AD, and according to local legends, they were once the temporary abode of the Pandavas during their exile from the Mahabharata epic. There are five caves carved out of sandstone on a small hillock. They exhibit plain architecture and have been an important archaeological and historical site. Satpura National Park, encompassing these caves, is a rich biodiversity hotspot home to a variety of flora and fauna including leopards, Indian bison, and various species of birds. The park is crisscrossed with streams and ravines which offer stunning views. The Pandav Caves themselves provide insight into early Buddhist architecture and have become a place of pilgrimage for some followers of Buddhism.

Visited Pandav Caves on the 1st day itself by our private cab. This spot was situated very near to our Resort. It is a place where the Pandav had stayed during their Agyatavas. Nice place to visit..
