Dhoopgarh, the highest point of the Satpura Range, is located in the Satpura National Park in Madhya Pradesh, India. It is renowned for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, attractive to photographers and nature enthusiasts alike. Once known as Forsyth Point, it was named after James Forsyth, a British officer and explorer. The site provides a panoramic view of the surrounding landscapes, including dense forests, rugged hills, and distant water bodies. Dhoopgarh's elevation and relatively untouched environment make it a perfect spot for trekking and exploring the rich biodiversity of the park. Satpura National Park itself is a unique conservation area, housing a variety of flora and fauna, including leopards, Indian bison, and various species of birds. The region's geological formations, with deep gorges and sandstone peaks, add to its dramatic scenery.
