The Ramakrishna Ashram in Rajkot, Gujarat, is a monastic organization for men brought into existence by followers of Swami Vivekananda, a disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. This spiritual center focuses on the practice and propagation of the teachings of Advaita Vedanta, the non-dualistic philosophy and its practical aspect of serving the poor and downtrodden as manifestations of the divine. It lies in the heart of Rajkot, offering a serene and peaceful environment amidst the bustling city life. The ashram comprises a temple dedicated to Sri Ramakrishna, a museum exhibiting the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, and a library with vast resources on spiritual literature. It is not only a shrine for personal contemplation and spirituality but also a hub for charitable and educational activities, reflecting the principles of 'Karma Yoga' advocated by Swami Vivekananda. The ashram's aesthetically pleasing architecture, alongside its verdant gardens, provides visitors with a sense of tranquility.

Serene place in the middle of the city.
Ramakrishna Ashram and the temple has been an oasis of peace and calm in the middle of the city. It's also a popular tourist destination, a part of the TCGL tour itinerary.
