The Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, situated on the western tip of the Island of Chorao by the Mandovi River in Goa, India, is an avian haven that draws nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers from all over the world. The ideal time to visit the sanctuary is from October to March when the weather is pleasantly cool and most of the migratory birds have descended on the sanctuary. This period offers the perfect climatic conditions for bird-watching, with the temperature ranging from 20°C to 32°C (68°F to 89.6°F).
