Simtola Eco Park, located near Almora, is a serene getaway in the lap of nature, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas and lush greenery. The best time to visit Simtola Eco Park is during the months of March to June and September to November. These months mark the spring to early summer and the post-monsoon seasons, providing pleasant weather conditions that are ideal for exploring the outdoors. The temperatures during these periods range from about 10°C to 25°C, making it comfortable for visitors to engage in activities such as hiking, bird watching, or simply relaxing amidst the natural surroundings.

During the spring, the park blooms with a variety of flowers, creating a vibrant and picturesque environment. The clear skies ensure excellent views of the Himalayan range. On the other hand, the post-monsoon period offers fresh green landscapes and a rejuvenated environment, as the rain settles the dust and clears the air. It is advisable to avoid visiting during the monsoon months of July to August due to heavy rainfall that can lead to landslides and travel disruptions. Likewise, the winter months from December to February can be quite chilly with temperatures dropping below freezing, and occasional snowfall might restrict outdoor activities.
