Best Time to Visit Terraced Garden in Chandigarh

One of the most picturesque locations in the union territory of Chandigarh, the Terraced Garden is known for its lush greenery and serenity. The optimal time to visit the Terraced Garden is from October to March. During these months, the weather is pleasant with the advent of autumn followed by a mild winter, creating perfect conditions for spending hours outdoors without any discomfort. The temperatures typically range from 9°C to 24°C, providing a cool and comfortable climate to explore the flower beds, and vibrant flora of the garden. This period is also ideal for attending the popular Chrysanthemum Show, which exhibits a wide variety of flowers and is usually held in December, attracting flora enthusiasts from all over.

Moreover, if you want to experience the garden in full bloom, visiting during the spring, particularly in the month of March, can be a delightful experience. The blossoms are in their full splendor, turning the garden into a palette of vivid colors. Spring also brings in the joy of the pleasant weather before the heat of summer sets in, making it an excellent time for picnics and nature walks. However, summer months should preferably be avoided as the hot climate with temperatures soaring above 35°C may hinder your ability to fully appreciate the beauty of the Terraced Garden.
