Best Time To Visit Anjani Mahadev (Manali) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Anjani Mahadev, Manali

When planning a visit to Anjani Mahadev in Manali, the best time to go is during the summer months, from May to October. During this period, the weather in the region is most favorable, with pleasant temperatures that typically range from 10°C to 25°C. This is the ideal time for trekking and sightseeing, as the skies are usually clear, offering unobstructed views of the beautiful surroundings and the majestic Shiva Lingam formed by the cascading water that freezes into an icy stalagmite. The summer season also sees Manali buzzing with activities, with flowering valleys and vibrant cultural festivals making the region come alive.

However, for travelers seeking a winter experience, visits between November to February can be mesmerizing as well, with landscapes covered in a blanket of snow. It should be noted that winter conditions can be harsh and challenging, with temperatures plummeting below freezing point, which can restrict access to Anjani Mahadev. As snowfall makes the trek difficult and sometimes dangerous, proper winter gear and experienced guides are strongly recommended if you choose to visit during these months. For those who can brave the cold, the serene beauty of the snowy landscapes, and the rare chance to see the snow-clad Shiva Lingam, makes it a unique adventure.
