Nehru Kund is a natural spring that is situated on the Manali-Keylong Road, just about 5 kilometers from Manali in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Named after the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, who used to drink from this spring during his stay in Manali, it is one of the most visited tourist spots in the region. This cold water spring is said to originate from the Bhrigu Lake, situated high up in the mountains. The clear and cold water here is considered pure and has medicinal properties. The kund is set in a picturesque landscape, surrounded by lush greenery and towering peaks, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers. Visitors come here to witness the serene beauty of the place, enjoy picnics with families, or simply to spend some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The site is also a favorite among trekkers as it falls on the way to many trekking routes in the Himalayas.
