Nestled amidst the tranquil settings of the Himalayan backdrop, the Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery is located in Naggar, approximately 23 kilometers from Manali, in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Established in a heritage building that was once the residence of the world-renowned Russian painter Nicholas Roerich, the gallery is a hub for art lovers and culture enthusiasts. The place honors Roerich's artistic pursuits and contributions while offering insights into his life and philosophy. Surrounded by a lush green garden, the gallery houses Roerich’s original paintings, which depict the ethereal beauty of the Himalayas. Alongside the artwork, personal memorabilia and rare photographs are exhibited. The Roerich estate also includes the Urusvati Himalayan Folk Art Museum, which showcases local folklore, traditional costumes, and ancient artifacts.
