  Beautiful

  Viewed the lake from the upper ramparts of the lake palace when I was staying in the property. Serene atmosphere with good views all around.

  Green, Grand and Great

  If Nature appeals to you, if peacocks dancing in the lush green lawns draw you like nothing else. Then Balsamand Lake and Garden is the place to be. Wow is one word which could truly define how magnificent these gardens are and how beautiful is the view of the Balsamand lake from the terrace area. It originally used to be a palace of the erstwhile King. There is something about the air here, it’s pure, it’s serene, it’s Royal. One of the must go places if you are visiting Jodhpur.

  Stunning grounds and great service

  After three weeks touring in India I wanted to call this hotel out as one of the best. We stayed in various 5* hotels and yet this hotel stood out amongst them. The grounds are stunning. Amazing lake, swimming pool, monkies etc Such a relaxing place with high levels of service. Great food sat outside with a real fire and very attentive staff. This was such a relaxing stay but sadly only one night. My wife didn’t want to leave. Make sure you build in some time to explore the hotel grounds. We will remember this palace as a highlight of our India tour

  Great campus and fine services

  I was on a tour of different parts of India with my family and used both commercial hotels as well as Airbnb. All the hotels used were of international brands. This hotel, while not part of an international network, offered the best experience. The striking aspect of my experience was the beautiful campus! Adjoining a large lake the management has created a nice garden that has plenty of birds and monkeys. The manicuring is excellent and the management takes care to prevent conflicts between guests and monkeys through the low-key deployment of skilled staff. The dining experience was great as well. It offers truly diverse food in an Indian milieu and the catering and presentation are of a superior kind. Services are outstanding and the staff is highly courteous while being efficient- a relatively rare blend in my experience in India (where I hail from). I would recommend this hotel for a fine vacation with family. Truly great value for money as well. I would like to recognise the work of Jitendar Shekhawat (General Manager), Bhagawan Singh (F&B) and Pavan Tewary (Front Office) in making our hotel experience enjoyable.
