Very Good, Clean, Good food and kind staff
So stayed here with entire family for 3 days. Upon arrival we were greeted with trumpets, people playing instruments and lady's dancing which was super great as it made us feel very welcome. The car that drove us here was also very nice with the driver giving us drinks and towels. A special shout out to the lovely man who ran the peacock feather hunting as it was super fun and he was very kind. In addition, super well done to all the staff in reception, those in the kitchen who are very talented, the main chef in the kitchen for making excellent food despite dietary needs and those who ran the kite flying as it was super fun. Food on point, activities super good and very family friendly. Some things for the hotel to improve on 1) Reduce crowd in mueseum. Despite the museum being very interesting there were way too many people 2) Directions around where things are. Got lost alot as could not find my way 3) Anti-Mosquito repelent in cubicals of bathrooms Had a very nice stay and highly reccomend

A Must Visit Palace in India
One of the best experiences we’ve ever had and I am sure that’s what Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace is known for. Everything was wonderful right from check in to check out. We felt like a part of The Palace family here. I would appreciate the efforts taken by each and every team member at this property in enhancing the beauty of India 🇮🇳 I would love to name few, who were very kind and loving. The front desk team was awesome. Akshay ( Reservations ) , Urvi FDE , Alka and Vishwajeet helped us with smooth check in and check out. They were kind enough to upgrade us to Heritage Suite room which had a stunning view of the Palace Garden. Chef Shobbit has magic in his hands! We are going to miss his delicious recipes. Housekeeping team were on toes in maintaining the beauty of our room. Thank you Taj & the legendary Tata group, you truly make India proud!!

Best hotel on the planet
This is the best hotel/resort on the planet. They literally treat you like royalty. They give you the royal treatment upon arrival throwing rose petals at your feet over a red carpet. It sets the tone for what is to come. The restaurants are amazing. Saddique, Karun,Jabara took extremely good care of us. Shobhit Mathur helped us pick out the best menu items. The spa at Umaid is heaven. Love this place

Unmatched service of the staff who took their work not as a job but as service to his highness.
Everything about this property echoes of luxury- from the architecture to hospitality to gastronomy. I had one of the best hotel stay experience during my visit to Jodhpur for its Polo Season. The hotel had an exclusive viewing arcade for its guests with high tea arrangements. It was rather delightful to watch a Polo match from their arena. Speaking of the architecture, it is nothing less than marvellous. It makes you feel like you’re the queen and this is your palace. The fellow residents were also sophisticated and generous. The hotel has some of the best chefs for an extraordinary culinary experience. But what stood out for me was the warm hospitality of the staff. There were people who have been associated with the hotel since its inception in the 1970s and interestingly, their families have worked for his highness for generations. They pursued their work not as a job but as an act of service to his highness. A special complement for his highness Gaj Singh Ji for adding that touch of his magnificent persona to the hotel. Unfortunately, my stay was rather short but I would love to come back with my husband to celebrate our occasions in future. I highly recommend it for celebrating milestone events and special occassions.

Magical stay experience
Wonderful property with great people. Went out of their way to keep us satisfied. A truly memorable visit. Among the several lovely people one gentleman in particular - Saddique who attended to us during our breakfast on both days of our stay - he has been with the property for 42 years and a true gem of a man in every respect !
