2. 2. Elephant Safari

An Elephant Safari in Bandhavgarh National Park is an enchanting way to explore the dense jungles and get a closer view of the wild animals, especially tigers. Seated on the back of these gentle giants, led by a mahout (elephant handler), you will experience the wilderness from a unique vantage point. Elephant safaris allow for more serene and quiet observation, unlike the noise of a jeep. The elephants can navigate through areas inaccessible to vehicles, increasing chances of spotting tigers in their natural habitat. Alongside tigers, you could witness various species of birds, small mammals, and lush vegetation. The calmness of the elephant's movement also offers a peaceful atmosphere, enhancing your connection with nature. This activity usually complements a jeep safari and is often of shorter duration.
