The Bandra-Worli Sea Link, officially known as Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, is a cable-stayed bridge that links Bandra in the Western Suburbs of Mumbai with Worli in South Mumbai. Inaugurated in June 2009, it is a marvel of modern engineering that reflects India's infrastructural progress. Spanning the Arabian Sea, the sea link is a part of the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation's initiative to reduce traffic congestion. This 5.6-kilometer-long bridge has pre-stressed concrete-steel viaducts on either side to hold it in place. The bridge is supported by massive pylons, and the structure is designed to resist earthquakes of magnitude up to 7.0. The Bandra-Worli Sea Link not only eases the travel time between the two points but also offers a panoramic view of the Mumbai coastline. It has become a new symbol of Mumbai, reflecting the blend of the city's modern stride and blue waters.

Splendid view from view point
Amazing views..Architectural marvel! You can't stop the vehicle on the sea link highway. Immediately after crossing, there is a view point from where one can take pictures.

Nice drive over the Arabian Sea
Nice drive over the ocean, worth coming during the night as you'll see the lights of the city and can take good videos and photos of the bridge when it's all lit.

Bridge doing bridge things
I'm no bridge expert, but I got from one side to the other without falling into the sea and drowning. Therefore, 5 out of 5.
