Taraporewala Aquarium is one of the oldest aquariums in India and a popular attraction in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The aquarium underwent a major renovation and was reopened in 2015 with upgraded facilities and tanks. It houses marine as well as freshwater fishes and offers an experience of the diverse aquatic life. The main attraction includes a 12-feet long and 360-degree acrylic glass tunnel which gives visitors a feeling of walking under the sea while observing the marine species. The aquarium has a collection of over 100 species of fish, coral fishes from the Lakshadweep Islands, sea turtles, sharks, and rays, among others. An amphitheater, a special tank for moray eels, a touch pool for tactile experience with sea creatures, and a special section dedicated to marine interpretation are other key highlights.

Better to sit at marine drive
Waste of money and time here. Nothing to see. You will get bored by seeing dirty tanks in which all the fishes are kept.
