Haji Ali Dargah is a revered Islamic shrine located off the coast of Worli in the southern part of Mumbai. It is an iconic religious landmark situated on a small islet that is connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway, which becomes submerged during high tide. The white-washed structure reflects Indo-Islamic architecture, with its towering minarets and domes. The mausoleum is the resting place of Sayyed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, a wealthy merchant who gave up all his worldly possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca. This monument is not just a religious site but also a symbol of unity and faith, drawing visitors from all religions and backgrounds. The sea surrounding the dargah offers a breathtaking view, especially during sunset, making it a popular spot for photographers and tourists alike. The sanctum is adorned with intricate marble patterns and the main hall has beautifully decorated mirrors, which add to the spiritual ambiance of the dargah.

Run Down. So Run Down. Sadly.
I went there in November 2023. I was not my first time. My last time was about 10 years ago. Sadly, this place is run down. Wish they spend some money to beautify this once-beautiful mosque.
