Betul Beach is a serene and relatively lesser-known beach located at the southern end of Goa, India. It is primarily a fishing beach that offers a tranquil atmosphere away from the bustling crowds typical of the more famous Goan beaches. With its gentle waters and picturesque surroundings, it's a perfect place for those looking to relax in a quiet, natural setting. Betul Beach is surrounded by lush greenery and is bordered by the Sal River, giving it a unique charm. The beach itself is a delight for nature lovers and solitude seekers. You'll find the traditional fishing boats known as 'trawlers' anchored on the river's bank, and it is not uncommon to see local fishermen going about their daily routines. Betul also boasts of a small lighthouse, which adds to the quaint charm of the area. The seafood here is fresh and delicious, with several shacks offering local Goan cuisine. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, the beach provides stunning views, especially during sunrise and sunset.
