Nice place to visit but don't go out of your way
This was a very nice time. We stopped here on our way from Varca (South Goa) to Calangute- it made for a nice stop on the way. I wouldn't say this is worth going to specifically for a day trip as the entire experience was about an hour, but it was a nice way to see some of the non-beach part of Goa. You are greeted with marigold petals and smiles. The herbal tea they offer is clean and is made from herbs that they grow on the plantation. You are asked to wait in a simple but clean seating area to enjoy the tea while you wait for your guide. You have the choice of English or Hindi (if there are other languages, I didn't catch those). Our guide was lovely - very knowledgeable and especially kind to my father (needed some assistance walking). She was patient and answered all our questions while showing us the wonders of the plantation. The walking tour takes about 30 minutes and has some uneven terrain. At the end, you are taken to the main dining and shopping area, where you can sample Feni (Goan liqueur- warning, this stuff is very potent) and buy other spices. You also can have lunch - but we decided against it (the admission fee is Rs. 500, which included the tour and lunch). Altogether a nice experience.

Eduational, fun, tasty and refreshing. All-in-one experience
The full visit with lunch and a shot of Feni was only 500 rupees. We had a great experience. Justin, our guide, gave us a very educational talk on how the spices are grown , which are they're culinary and medicinal uses, what's their yearly yield and many many more interesting facts. Justin was even telling us the names in each of the guest's native language. The visit finished at the gift shop, where the spices were sold at very affordable prices, I deeply regret not having enough cash with me. They don't accept non-indian cards. There was a complementary buffet-style lunch with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. A big variety of local savory dishes and a couple of desserts. If you are in the region, I highly recommend you pay them a visit.

Please dont visit this place for meal
We don't recommend to visit this place, food was pathetic, they will charge you 500 per person, in small plate, dal is being served in paper glass, fish is bangada, worse, they charge us 1500, we have to take refund, they are fooling people who are not goan.
